Tips for Studying for the Unit B, Chapter 1 Science Test

What Will the Test Consist of?
•Chapter 1 Vocabulary Words and Definitions – All Matching
•First 20 elements on the periodic table and their abbreviations – All Matching
•Some short answer questions.
•Some Fill-In-The-Blank with a word bank to help students with the correct responses
•Many multiple choice questions on the content of the chapter. . . We will be painlessly outlining the whole chapter to help with this part of the test. You should review your child's outline with them.
•There will be some conversion problems of liters (L) to milliliters (mL) and back. Page B7 will be a good page to review this skill.     Sample Questions: ____mL = 2 L     8,000 mL = ____L
