Birthday Treats |
| A child's birthday is a great time for celebration. Bringing treats to class is a special way to celebrate that day. Here are some guidelines to make this a successful experience for your child: | |||||||
| Send a treat that your child can serve by themselves. Successful Examples Include: Cookies, Candy Bars, Suckers, Cupcakes, Individually Wrapped Rice Krispie Treats or Bars |
| If sending a baked product in a pan, cut it into pieces at home. Send along the proper utensils for your child to serve it. I am not able to leave the classroom to get pancake turners, spatulas, or knives. |
| Include paper napkins with the treats if you're sending a baked product or anything gooey. | |||||||
| Please do not include a beverage with the treat. It's just an added expense and many times the students don't have enough time to finish a whole can of soda. Cases of beverages containing caffeine will be sent back home for use there. |
