| Design a Quilt This is a great activity for a rainy day. Cut colored construction paper into 1-inch squares. Then cut some of the squares in half to form triangles. Experiment with the shapes to create cool designs and patterns. Try different color and design combinations. When you've found a combination you like, glue the shapes in place on a piece of paper. If you don't have any construction paper, print out the 1-inch grid page and color in the squares using crayons, markers, gel pens, or colored pencils. Cut out the squares and make your own outrageous designs! |
